With years of practice in avoiding painful realities, defensive chemically dependent persons may lose access to their areas of vulnerability. Therefore, the product of their defensiveness becomes their reality. And so, we are faced with the task of helping them see a new reality and hope.

Goodwill Industries of Acadiana's Recovery Connection Program has the staff, ability, and resources to fulfill the needs of chemically dependent individuals, their families, and the community.
