Find your place at GoodHome. 

GoodHome is a wonderful, supportive home for individuals caught in the middle of "the system" -- exiting foster care through the OCS or OJJ systems, but with nowhere to turn for help.  GoodHome offers a structured and loving environment where young adults can get the training and guidance needed to live on their own.

GoodHome provides a safe environment, with dedicated and well-trained staff, where young adults can learn life skills to prepare them for life on their own.  From the basic tasks of finding an apartment or buying a car, to the more complicated, these individuals will learn life skills that are often missed when traveling through the foster care or judicial systems. 

Participants are taught money management, health and wellness, decision making techniques, coping skills, job skills, resume writing skills and educational options.

Maison de Goodwill

In the Spring of 1998, Goodwill opened Maison de Goodwill, a residential community for senior citizens. Maison de Goodwill is carefully designed to meet the needs of residents who are looking for a safe (24 hour security monitoring), affordable, and lovely place to call home.

Maison de Goodwill features 40 one-bedroom units, including specially equipped units. Maison de Goodwill also features an on-site craft room, library, hair salon, and celebration room for family gatherings. It has a fun, happy environment where the residents are encouraged to interact and enjoy life. Residents must be age 62 or above and fall within HUD income guidelines.

Maison de Goodwill is located in the center of Lafayette, at 415 Guilbeau Road, and is only minutes away from restaurants, banking, and shopping facilities. For even greater convenience, Maison de Goodwill is located on the Lafayette City Bus route, and less than 10 minutes away from 3 major medical centers.

Housing

Maison de Rayne 

Maison de Rayne is a residential community for the physically disabled. Maison de Rayne features 21 one-bedroom units, all handicap accessible.

The facility offers many wonderful amenities. Each apartment is furnished with a refrigerator and microwave, as well as stackable washer/dryer hook-ups. There is a common celebration room for family gatherings, a laundry room, and neatly kept landscaping outside. Residents must be age 18 or older, have a physical disability, and fall within HUD guidelines.

Maison de Rayne is not an assisted living facility. Each of our residents lives independently in their own apartment. Maison de Rayne is located at 610 Sunrise Boulevard in Rayne, and is only minutes away from restaurants, banking and shopping facilities.
